Pacofino has a total of 17 huacaya and suri stud males. Some are jointly owned and imported and some are home bred. Not all our sires are available for outside matings but their genetics can be purchased at very reasonable prices via their progeny or by pregnant females.

A US import that did well in the US show ring, Illumination is a stunning, dense fleeced male with immense lustre and fine locks. At nearly 6 years of age he has maintained his fine lock structure and is a very proud macho male. His paternal grandsire is the famous mahogany coloured full Peruvian MacGyver, a male that won Herd Sire of the Year 5 years in a row (2003-2007) at the All American Futurity. Illumination normally throws to the dam’s colour and has produced solid whites and solid colours. His crias all look alike with beautiful heads and fine pencilled fleece and many have gone on to achieve successful show careers.

Mocha Java is a US import by a Peruvian sire and Bolivian dam. His terrific colour and amazing fleece stats have contributed to his very attractive coloured progeny. While his fleece is not overly dense he produces lovely fine pencilling crias and has thrown several beautiful fine fleeced greys and blacks. Mocha Java’s sire is 4Peruvian Olajuwon, a solid black suri known for throwing silver grey crias.

Marius has only recently begun his working life and he can be well proud of the crias he has produced so far. He is a proud, upstanding male and carries an extremely dense, fine and crimpy fleece. His bloodlines include Encantador Centurion, Windsong Valley Royal Inca and Cedar House Peru Accoyo Jacomo. Marius has achieved a successful show career with 6 broad ribbons to his name, the latest being Champion Mature Huacaya Male at the Charles Ledger Show in September, 2009. Marius is available for outside matings.

Lance, as we call him, has a great pedigree with the bloodlines of Blue Grass Centurion, Jolimont Warrior and
Purrumbete Ledgers Dream. This young male has recently started his working life with his first gorgeous
female cria having arrived in November 2009. He has achieved a very successful show career with 7 broad
ribbons to his name, including Champion Intermediate Male at the 2007 National Show and Champion Adult Male at
the 2008 Southern NSW Region’s Annual Show. Lance is solid in bone and frame and has lovely fine, high
frequency fleece with a very soft handle to it. Lance is unavailable for outside matings at this time,
however he is included as a covering sire with the purchase of some of our maiden huacayas that are listed in
our For Sale section. Lance is co-owned with Elysion Alpacas.
